Service of thanksgiving for Leicester Cathedral restoration and Heritage and Learning Centre

The restoration of Leicester Cathedral and the construction of its new Heritage and Learning Centre have been significant developments for the city this year. So, I was pleased to attend an occasion to mark this accomplishment – an uplifting Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication. Also present at the service were Deputy Lieutenant of Leicestershire Sally Bowie, The Lord Mayor of Leicester Cllr Teresa Aldred and her Consort, and Chairman of Leicestershire County Council Cllr Paul Harrison. The service was led by Dean of the Cathedral The Very Revd Karen Rooms.
