Carols at HMP Leicester

I attended a carol service at HMP Leicester as a guest of the Prison Chaplain the Rev Ben Read before Christmas. The service was also attended by Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Sarah Furness, Deputy-Lieutenant Priyesh Patel MBE, and Lord Mayor of Leicester Cllr Teresa Aldred. I had the pleasure of meeting prisoners as well as the recently appointed Governor Matt Davies, volunteers and the Chaplain-General of the HM Prison and Probation Service the Venerable James Ridge.
