Winter graduation ceremonies

Academic achievement was celebrated at venues around Leicester in recent weeks, and I was privileged to attend ceremonies for De Montfort University, the University of Leicester, and North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College.

I joined the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, Cllr Paul Harrison, as the guest of Vice-Chancellor Professor Katie Normington at the De Montfort University winter graduation ceremony at Curve.
I also attended the University of Leicester ceremony at De Montfort Hall.

And I was at the North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College celebration at Athena along with Deputy Lieutenant of Leicestershire Sally Bowie DL.

All these occasions were very uplifting, and it was delightful to see the smiles on the faces of graduates and their families. I send my congratulations to them all and wish them every success in the future.
