Brilliant to spend the day with the East Leicester Neighbourhood Police Area visiting Keyham, Spinney Hill, Belgrave and St Mathews. A tour round the station meeting officers and support staff and seeing the custody suite. Out on response, walking the beat and speaking to members of the community. They are an incredible team.
Speaking to officers I learnt about the challenges and rewards of the job. They truly see and deal with some very difficult things and we are lucky to have such dedicated and committed individuals at our service keeping us safe.
Your work is deeply appreciated by those people who rely on you in their time of need.
Thank-you for my day with you all ….. and I’m glad I passed the breath test with flying colours!!!
