LOROS visit

LOROS Hospice in Leicester is well known throughout our county as it provides free, compassionate care for terminally ill adults and their families and carers. The charity, which began in 1985, cares for people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. I recently met its Acting Chief Executive Officer Camilla Barrow and was given a tour. I was humbled by the dedication and humility of the staff and volunteers who have such an effect on the patients in their care. The compassion of everyone was palpable, from the fundraising team to the clinical and care teams and the amazing volunteers. This stood out as a testament to the very best of our Leicestershire community spirit. Thank you to everyone at LOROS for your amazing work.
