I attended a public meeting with the Rural Police team who have made a huge impact on reducing crime in the rural area around Melton and Rutland in the last year.
This has been achieved by a dedicated team and building relationships with the community and is a great example of working together with the community. It was valuable to hear from those attending about their current concerns around crime in the area.
I was pleased to publicly thanks Matt and Chris for their work.
