National Memorial Arboretum

The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire is a 150-acre space featuring more than 400 memorials recognising bravery, service and sacrifice. I was invited with my consort Jane Bryan to a luncheon and guided tour at the arboretum recently as a guest of the High Sheriff of Staffordshire Tim Gillow. HM Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire Prof Liz Barnes CBE attended as well as other High Sheriffs from the West and East Midlands. It was an inspiring and thought-provoking visit.
