The High Sheriff of Leicestershire attended the opening of a New Vet Centre by Dr Scott Miller at Woodside Vet Centre, RSPCA Leicester on 30th June. Thanks to generous donations this will now allow rescue animals to be, wherever possible treated on site and therefore the reduce any possible stress of further transportation for treatment.
The veterinary nurses, kennel staff, behaviourists, volunteers and rest of the team at Woodside were delighted to meet Dr Scott Miller who showed a keen interest in their work and broadcasted live on This Morning about the new vet centre and the work of the RSPCA at Leicester. Dr Scott Miller was genuinely chuffed with the honour of unveiling a plaque to mark the opening of the vet centre.
The High Sheriff, Deputy Lieutenant and donors had a fascinating tour of the new vet suite and had the opportunity to further understand the work of the incredible team at Woodside and the impact of the new veterinary wing.
