Holocaust Memorial Day 2025, Leicester
Youth participation, Bach’s Allemande (D Minor Cello Suite) hauntingly played by Caroline Salinger, & a knockout Oration by Prof Aubrey Newman emphasising the importance of visiting the sites of Auschwitz, & others, to keep the memory alive. Humbling to have been there.
Tim Hercock
A packed service this afternoon to celebrate the life of a wonderful man and former High Sheriff of Leicestershire. Rest in Peace, Tim.
The late Tim Hercock
Deeply saddened to learn of Tim’s sudden death. High Sheriff in 2019-20, he was a glass half-full man, seriously competent and widely loved. An absolute tragedy. Rest in Peace.
