Police Visits

Visiting police stations around Leicestershire to meet Neighbourhood Policing Teams and specialist units is an important part of my role as High Sheriff. And I began 2026 with visits to three police stations in the county.
I met Inspector Neil Whittle, pictured, at Hinckley, Inspector Ryan Hayes at Beaumont Leys, also pictured, and Inspector Steve Burge at Coalville Emergency Services Hub.
The visits gave me the opportunity to meet beat and response officers and to thank them personally for their commitment and dedication to helping keep our communities safe.
