Royal Visit to the Sense Hub Loughborough

One of the roles of the High Sheriff of the county is to support the Lord-Lieutenant on royal visits and it was my pleasure to help welcome the patron of Sense, Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal to the Sense Hub at Loughborough to officially open the centre, planting a commemorative tree and unveiling a plaque to celebrate the occasion.

During her visit, Her Royal Highness toured the building, took a look at our new outdoor hub (coming this summer!) and had a peak in our activity studios. She met with students, staff, volunteers and local businesses and funders who’ve supported us on our journey to opening Sense Hub Loughborough.

Everyone was so excited and hugely grateful for the patron for visiting.
