The High Sheriff visited Turning Point in Leicester to learn about the vital work they do with anyone who is affected by drugs or alcohol and wants support to make change.
Turning Point also offers support with mental health, learning disability, sexual health and support for young people and friends and family affected by these issues. For those who want to take this first step their advice is free and confidential to keep you moving forward to recovery.
A tour of the building demonstrated how it offers excellent facilities for its clients. It was also good to meet representatives of Dear Albert’s Stairway project supporting those in recovery from substance misuse.
