Vaisakhi Celebrations 2026

The major Sikh festival and Punjabi New Year commemorates the founding of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The celebration was marked with a vibrant Nagar Kirtan processions through the City centre with Gatka Sikh martial arts dressed members, floats and the sharing of free vegetarian community meals for all on the procession which concluded on East Park Road.
